EMDR Therapy

EMDR stands for: Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a research backed psychotherapy for trauma and anxiety disorders. It’s effects can reduce the emotional and physiological distress brought on by a trauma memory by guiding the client to focus briefly on the memory while simultaneously administering bilateral stimulation (BLS), typically by means of eye-movements.

Individual Therapy

Alongside using EMDR, Sal utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness techniques, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy to help meet the specific needs of his clients.

Family Therapy

There are times when our loved ones want to help but simply don’t know how. In therapy, we recognize that individual well-being is closely connected to family dynamics. Therefore, to help facilitate growth in his clients, Sal works collaboratively with families to promote healing, communication, and positive change.
