EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a research-backed psychotherapy proven to help with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and performance-related stress. During EMDR sessions, clients briefly focus on distressing memories while engaging in bilateral stimulation (BLS)—such as guided eye movements—to help the brain reprocess painful experiences.
This process reduces emotional distress, promotes healing, helps the brain reprocess distressing memories and enhances mental resilience. EMDR can also support athletes and performers in overcoming anxiety, improving focus, and building confidence.

Individual Therapy
Alongside using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy—we integrate a range of therapeutic methods to address each client’s unique needs. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness techniques, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.
This integrative approach allows us to support clients in building emotional resilience, reducing stress, improving focus, and fostering long-term mental well-being. Whether you are seeking to heal from past trauma, manage symptoms of anxiety, or optimize your mindset for athletic performance, our goal is to help you achieve balance, confidence, and lasting growth.
Family Therapy
There are times when our loved ones want to help but simply don’t know how. Family therapy provides a supportive space to strengthen relationships, improve communication, and foster understanding. Because individual well-being is deeply connected to family dynamics, we work collaboratively with families to promote healing and positive change.
At our practice, family counseling can help address the impact of trauma, anxiety, and stress within the family system. By improving communication patterns and emotional awareness, family members learn to support one another more effectively, creating a foundation for lasting growth and resilience.

Supervision
We have Board Certified Supervisors for the State of Maryland. We have presided over several LGPCs in accruing the hours needed to become a fully licensed therapist in Maryland. We support LGs to become competent and ethical therapists as they gain advancement in the field of psychotherapy.
